Dispute & Chargeback Policy
Effective date: September 1, 2026
This policy explains how 9568-6713 Québec inc., operating FjordLift Digital, prevents and handles billing errors, unauthorized-payment reports, non-delivery complaints, payment disputes and chargebacks.
This policy applies to FjordLift digital products, prepaid digital purchasing credits, one-time service packages and custom digital services.
Contact Us Before or During a Dispute
Customers may report a duplicate charge, incorrect amount, unauthorized payment, non-delivery, account-access issue or other billing concern at Email.
Please include the customer name, account email, invoice or receipt number, payment date, amount, payment reference if available, and a description of the issue. We normally acknowledge a complete request within two business days and aim to provide a substantive response within ten business days.
Contacting FjordLift does not limit any right the customer may have to contact their card issuer, financial institution, payment provider or consumer-protection authority.
Customer and Transaction Verification
Before fulfillment, FjordLift requires confirmation that the payment provider reports the transaction as paid or successful and that the amount and currency match the order.
The transaction record may include the customer email or account identifier, billing location, checkout record, payment-provider reference, amount, currency, invoice or receipt, product or service description and provider authorization result. FjordLift does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
Transactions may be paused for manual review when information is incomplete, inconsistent, duplicated or identified as unusually high risk by the payment provider.
Authorization and Duplicate Prevention
A customer-initiated checkout or payment link and the payment provider's authorization record document the payment attempt. Each successful payment reference may be fulfilled only once.
Before issuing credits or delivering a digital product or service, FjordLift checks the payment reference against existing purchase, order and credit-ledger records to reduce duplicate fulfillment and duplicate billing.
Delivery and Fulfillment Records
For prepaid credits, FjordLift records the customer identifier, payment reference, CAD credit amount, resulting balance, access status and record timestamp. Later redemptions are recorded separately when applicable.
For downloadable products, FjordLift may retain the order record, access entitlement, delivery status and download or access history when available. For services, FjordLift may retain the invoice, scope, delivery record, project record, approvals and completed deliverables.
These records are used to investigate non-delivery, duplicate-charge, account-access and chargeback claims.
Unauthorized Payments and Account Protection
A customer who believes a payment was unauthorized should notify FjordLift and their financial institution promptly. FjordLift may temporarily restrict unused disputed credits or related access while the claim is investigated to prevent further use or duplicate recovery.
When a payment is confirmed as unauthorized, duplicated, incorrectly charged or not fulfilled, FjordLift will correct the account and issue any refund required by law, the applicable payment-provider rules and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Complaint Resolution and Chargebacks
FjordLift first attempts to resolve documented complaints directly by reviewing the payment, invoice, customer-account, credit-ledger, delivery and usage records.
If a chargeback is filed, FjordLift may provide the payment provider or financial institution with relevant transaction, authorization, policy, delivery, access and usage evidence. We do not submit false or misleading evidence and we do not penalize a customer for exercising a lawful dispute right.
A refund and a chargeback cannot both be retained for the same transaction. Any account correction will reflect the final outcome of the dispute.
